Hey Guys.. I'd Like You To Meet....

Hi guys...

I'd like to introduce you to Raghda Zaid, Shes a fifteen year old student formerly from Irag, Baghdad to be precise. But now driven from here home to live in the United Arab Emirates.
I stumbled across her blog quite by accident and being a lover of cats decided to read.
I couldn't help sharing a thought for her and her family as I read of how she and her family had to leave thier home, friends, loved ones and pets behind to move to the safety of another country..
Can any of you imagine what that must be like? In her blog you will read of her love for pets, her family... her friends and her home even how well her exams have gone, but what you wont read is how scared she must be, how upsetting it is to leave your home behind and not know if you'll ever see it again not a single show of her fears or at the very least not a single complaint!!!..
That in my oppinion is someone braver than they'll know.
The US and the UK or at least the news would have you beleive that all these people are basically terrorists and the enemy or at the very least some kind of threat.. yeah right.. does this girl look like the enemy to you???? She is just a regular kid like any other with hobbies, interests, likes, dislikes... friends.. familys.. feelings, thoughts...
Yet you will hear none of this in the media.. all I see all day long is reports on bombings and killings and Iraq this and Al Quaida that.. jeez TV Dudes.. Just shut the fuck up for a minute and stop forcing this crap in peoples faces.. If you reporter guys want to do the decent thing you should be reporting on people like this, who have done nothing wrong but yet come off the worse.

Ok Mr British or Mr American.. how would you like troops storming your streets and taking over... military on every corner... Soldiers looking at you with suspicion...
Curfews... Raids on your homes in the middle of the night while your children are sleeping... again these are the things you are not shown....

So I for one take my hat off to this girl and all she's had to live with and deal with, and deal with it she has.. all that at such a young age... these are heros!!!!!!!
